Waking to a winter-frosted world

I’m still not used to all this snow! It’s absolutely gorgeous out there---we must have over a foot, and it’s clinging to all the trees, buildings and power lines.

It has hardly stopped snowing all week. I'm loving it, though I'm not looking forward to the inevitable melting/freezing/icy/slushy stage. But for now it's really beautiful, especially since I'm not out driving in blizzard conditions! (See "We have a story" for more about that.)

Look, ma! I'm famous! Though perhaps not in the best light, going by the few times that I'm mentioned. Fascinating reading, though; a really interesting side of a ("the" is more accurate, but not quite as literarily attractive) sister that I've fallen sadly out of touch with in the last few years.
