I just made a photo album all about my bright little place. It's so cute, I wanted to share. I'm even liking the pink.
I love having friends visit, so if you're ever coming this way, let me know. I have lots of tea and I like making pie. Who doesn't like pie?
Wow! What a wonderful space you're living in. I have to admit that I've kind of fallen out of the blog world (both reading and writing), and so this is the first time I've been to your site in a while. It's so great! And you're in Santa Fe, working for a weekly! You're living the life by the sounds of it. (What kind of paper is it?)
I've spent a couple nights in Santa Fe (on the way to Mexico). It's a nice place.
Anyways, just thought I'd say hello instead of lurking quietly like a cyber-spirit...
Grace and peace to you.

I don't know about inviting friends to stay over on that futon. It's a little too close to Charley the Attack Plant. Someone might wake up with a vine wrapped around their neck. I'm speaking from experience. I was afraid to fall asleep at my desk at work for an entire year with that thing growing around my desk...I missed out on a lot of quality naptime because of that creature.

um . . . I don't like pie. yes, it's true, I'm odd. my friends bug me incessantly about how picky I am which I disagree with. However, the pie thing, since apparently everyone likes it, has allowed them to rest their case.

Congratulations, and thanks for the tour of your new place. It seems bright and quiet, gorgeous and comfy.

Wow, I got mentioned by name! Thanks for making me feel special. And as for the stemware rack, I thought to myself "why doesn't April hang her stemware from it?" Then I realized that you had -- a long stemmed rose, it looks like!
I was wondering where a BISTie picture was, but than I found it. There was me, in a picture I've never seen before, doing something I don't remember. Strange feeling . . .
Wes, I think I'm intrepid enough to brave the futon and Charley if it means getting to drink tea with April afterwards.
Back to April. I love that you have the guts to list John Denver in your "listening" section. I grew up with him and Peter, Paul, and Mary, and while I feel like I should turn up my nose, I can't. (I also grew up with Simon and Garfunkel, but I don't even feel silly about that!)
And pie? Yes please! I'm coming to Santa Fe just as soon as I can afford it!

Good to see you around again, Jeremy. Santa Fe is pretty cool. The weekly is an arts/culture/opinions sort of paper. More liberal and offbeat, to serve the large liberal population in Santa Fe.
Caro, I really can't believe that. I'm very sad for you.
Katie, I love your long comments. Visit anytime—I will provide tea and pie and safe sleeping despite Charley the attack plant.
