This week, not working, I've taken some walks—in the snow, after the snow, in the sun—and enjoyed a lot of rest. Thursday I took my camera in the morning and just played.
Today my Christmas Eve music is Deb Talan, The Weepies and Hummingfish (all Deb Talan, basically). The snippet from the song below seems fitting for the day, the season, the weather. It's about love, I suppose, but to me it's always seemed a bit like a hymn.
...I catch sight of a wild bird
On a lone post on a long fence
And I can see you everywhere
In the trees outside my window
On the street in the frozen air
I can see you there...
