We finished our special issue at work on Friday. I've spent the weekend letting go of all the stress and overworkedness (97 hours in two weeks, which is a lot more than usual for me).
I'm all moved into my new place, which is just like my old one except with new carpet and fresh paint. Moving was hellish, because I did most of it myself in less than two days. Ouch.
No (unprotected) wireless at the new place, which, combined with craziness at work, is why I've not been blogging.
More photos in the India album.
That's all for now. What happened to March (and most of April)?
In response to Leah's very good question: "Why?"
Well, the short version is that my old condo was for sale for several months. The realtor took down the sign and lock box one day, so I assumed it had sold.
Around the same time, I was looking for a new place to live in anticipation of that sale. I found this other condo on the other side of the complex and had talked to the owner about moving in mid-April. Well, we had everything settled and I hadn't talked to my old landlords in a while (I was in India and then couldn't get a hold of them).
So the weekend I was moving, I found out the place hadn't sold; they just took it off the market. I probably could have stayed there. But oh well. My new place smells better, is cleaner, has new carpet/fresh paint and doesn't—so far as I know—have a history of plumbing disasters.
I intend to call you sometime at the end of this week. We have a lot to catch up on. I miss you, friend!

also, why did you move? I feel like I completely missed the reasoning on that.

but here is the key question: is it still pink?
I demand new pictures so I can accurately envision you in your new home :-)

Now April is all gone!
The month, I mean. You're still here, right sis?
