As spring has been slow in coming, I've tried to fill my little home with colorful things. My birthday was yummy, with strawberry shortcake, Thai food, gifts of plants and flowers, orange Peeps.
Some of my favorite lines from my birthday letter to myself:
- I'm usually happy or at least content. My life is not hard, and my family is quite nice.
- I wonder what I'll be like when I'm 26. Will I look the same? ... I do hope I won't be fat.
- I hope I still write poetry when I'm 26...and still make lists. I make entirely too many now. I don't know what it is that is so fun about them. It makes me feel settled and organized. I certainly am anal.
Silly little me.
I get paid to write lists. That's basically 50% of my job. The older (hahahahahahahah) I get, the more these lists seem to make me relaxed and calm as well. It's a strange thing.

Isn't this the craziest Spring? I'm glad you aren't fat too. Listing is genetically inherited from both sides of your family. It's inevitable. Your photos are luscious. mums

awesome, and happy birthday! I love the photos. where did you get the orchids? I happened to buy some similar orchids at ikea this past week. I'm hoping I manage to keep them alive.
