April IS the cruelest month

Today, the last day of April, it is snowing. Two weeks ago, it was 70 degrees, sunny, the epitome of spring.

The tulips look betrayed.

Cruelty comes in many forms. This particular cruelty consists of erratic moods and daily deception.

insane Wyoming. we kept expecting that kind of weather here and not getting it. instead, April went down as one of the warmest in history here. it was really weird for everything to happen 2 weeks to a month ahead of time. I keep wanting to put my plants in the ground, but I'm worried a freak frost will get them.

Hey Leah, I'm with you on the plant thing. I put out 80 tomato plants May 10th last year and they froze to the ground. Luckily, I didn't pull them out and they came back. So, I'm waiting too even though all my neighbors have all put out plants.
